Planning and Design
OK, so you love the idea of having an IDIYA Lab in your classroom, but you’re not sure how you would set it all up. Don’t worry. We’re experts at installing our IDIYA Labs into places as big as warehouses and as small as closets. Check out our IDIYA Labs setup and installation process.
Curriculum and Teacher Training
You’ve heard the saying, “A classroom is only as good as it’s teacher.” Well, we believe the same is true of our IDIYA Labs. However, we also understand that many schools battle a high teacher turnover, which means you may not always have a teacher on staff who is passionate about our IDIYA Labs or knows how to lead this type of classroom.
Grants and Funding
We have several pricing options for classroom IDIYA Labs, from pre-made IDIYA Lab setups or custom solutions to meet your price point. We can help identify key funding points and implement target grant applications to help narrow the scope and find your school the funding it needs.
Professional Development
We provide training to equip teachers with the tools they need to be successful in the classroom. We build our professional development training around the subjects and equipment found in your makerspace, with modular components to meet your team’s goals.
Ongoing Support and Maintenance
Extruders can jam, lasers can fizzle and computers can crash. While our team strives to maintain excellent care for the technology used in your labs, technological errors can still occur. But don’t worry; we’re here to help. With online support and in-person availability, IDIYALabs keeps your program going with minimal downtime.
Makerspace Lessons and Modules
IDIYALabs modules involve hands-on activities that teachers can implement in the classroom innovation lab to both support classroom learning and provide hands-on utiization of digital fabrication technology. Each module is designed to manage the classroom and ensure that each student is equipped with the skills needed for the 21st-century workforce.
